What is a cookie?

A cookie is a text file that the web browser stores on a your device in order to remember you and your visit in various ways and contribute to a better experience and functionality for you. There are three types of cookies

Persistent cookies stored for a longer period (maximum 24 months). They are used, for example, for the website to recognize you and the choices you made during a previous visit.

Medfield’s website contains all three types of cookies, both permanent and temporary cookies. The information in these cookies is only linked to your computer (via your IP address) and your visit to Medfield’s website. Third-party cookies from trusted suppliers are also used (see below).

Purpose of cookies on Medfield’s website

The purpose of these cookies is that the website should function as intended in your browser and to be able to collect statistical data about web traffic and about the visitors’ behavior when they enter Medfield’s web pages. Medfield will under no circumstances use cookies or other methods to collect personal information without the consent of the users.

Medfield and Google Analytics (Third-party Cookie)

Medfield uses Google Analytics for the purpose of collecting statistics for Medfield’s account of how visitors use our site. We can use the information to compile reports and to help us improve the site. These cookies collect information from where the visitors have come to the website (including your IP address), the number of visitors to the site and the pages they have visited. Information obtained using Google Analytics is managed and stored on Google’s servers in the United States.
