Processing of personal data

Purpose

The personal data and information we collect about our customers and visitors (the “Visitor”) on our website can be used for the following reasons:

  • Using cookies, give a personal user experience so that the website functions as intended in the Visitor’s browser and to be able to collect statistical data about web traffic and about the Visitor’s behavior on Medfield’s web pages (read more in the section Cookies below).

Medfield processes your personal information as private information and operates our site in order to treat all information collected as confidential and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations on privacy.

Medfield will take all reasonable steps to ensure that this information is safely processed.

Those who can access your personal information are a limited number of Medfield employees and third parties that Medfield has engaged to perform certain services. We train our employees about the importance of privacy and how to manage customer data accurately and safely. If problems arise in the handling of the information, we will quickly take reasonable corrective measures.

You have the right to request information about which personal data Medfield is processing about you, as well as the extent and purpose of this treatment. Medfield is required to provide such information on request, free of charge once per calendar year. You can at any time request that we delete or that we correct your personal information from our current records.

In order to comply with the law and fulfill warranty obligations and such, we keep certain personal information that you submit during commercial transactions.

Transfer of personal data to third parties

Medfield will not sell, rent or transfer your personal information to any third party, except for third parties providing services and / or consulting on behalf of Medfield. Third Party may, on behalf of Medfield, collect, track and process information provided by the Visitor for the purposes set out in this Policy.

When third parties handle your personal information, Medfield will take reasonable precautions.

Marketing

Medfield can ask if the Visitor allows the information to be used for Medfield’s newsletter, for market research and / or marketing purposes and the like. However, you will always have the right to say no to such requests or to change your mind.
