Medfield enters research cooperation in Australia
Medfield Diagnostics AB and Hunter Medical Research Institute, New South Wales (HMRI) have agreed to cooperate in research with microwave technology to diagnose abnormalities in the brain.
As part of this collaboration Medfield Diagnostics will allocate personnel to assist HMRI in analysing the results from the Strokefinder MD100 that HMRI will purchase.
– We firmly believe in this technology and see multiple opportunities how it can address diagnostic challenges that today lack adequate solutions, says professor Michael Nilsson, director of HMRI. Diagnosis of traumatic brain injuries is for sure one of these challenges.
– HMRI is a perfect partner for Medfield, both for their solid competence within relevant fields as well as for the drive and ambition to stay in the forefront when it comes to new technologies, comments Dag Jungenfelt, CEO of Medfield Diagnostics. This is yet another confirmation of the value of our Strokefinder-concept and may also be the first sale of MD100.
