New CEO in January

New MD takes office in January

The Board has appointed Dag Jungenfelt as new Managing Director of Medfield Diagnostics from the 1st of January 2013. His background in research and development makes him particularly qualified for the challenges in the coming years for Medfield Diagnostics. Dag Jungenfelt is an M.Sc. from Chalmers University of Technology and has recently been R&D Manager at Ericsson Microwave. He has throughout his career worked close to the interface between technology and sales. Dag has a long and broad experience of management in larger organizations.

“We are very pleased to establish such an experienced leader that day to Medfield. At the same time, we want to thank Patrik Dahlqvist, for his efforts in the early development of the company”, says Stefan Jacobsson, Chairman of the Board. “Now Dag, with his unique expertise and experience in project management, research and sales, can focus on our first commercial product to stroke units at hospitals around the world. The time of the change is good since Medfield Diagnostics is facing a new phase in its development. In 2013, the first commercial product, the monitoring cap for TIA patients, is prepared for launch with the final phase of product development, certification and CE marking on the agenda. We are very pleased that Patrick is not completely leaving us but will continue as a consultant in the company as much as he can during his parental leave.”
